This was one of the most fascinating investigations that I have had the pleasure of conducting in some time. Jack and I arrived around 3 or 3:30 pm that afternoon, as the warehouse closed at 4 pm and it would allow us time to investigate without being interrupted by the general public.

This was the first time I had met Elizabeth in person, although Jack had conducted previous investigations and knew her quite well. As will be revealed, most of her previous instincts were confirmed by my own (read her account here).

When we first arrived at the location and began walking across the loading docks, I sensed that a female spirit was looking out from the far left entrance onto the storage areas. As we strolled though the maze of corridors, I continued to have the distinct impression that the three of us were not alone. Unfortunately, nothing unusual was evident from the photographs or EM meter on this first floor.

As we ascended to the second floor, I sensed a drastic change in atmosphere. It went from slightly unpleasant to intensely alarming. It is difficult to explain, but due to the sharp winding of the hallways and lack of stairs, I should have been unaware of when we were actually entering the second floor area. However, this was anything but the case. When we were a few feet away from the doorway leading to the second floor, I knew exactly where the snaking hallways had delivered us. The moment I stepped into the hallway, I sensed a strong presence that brought a welling of tears to my eyes. I remember distinctly thinking that: #1 this was the second floor, and #2 this is where she(Elizabeth) has had paranormal encounters. Not 30 seconds after these thoughts, Elizabeth announced that this was the location where she had visibly seen orbs, as well as photographed them (see her photographs here). Now granted, I had seen these photographs prior to this visit, but I came into the area from a completely different direction than the photographs were shot and didn't recognize this area until I compared photographs later on. Besides, thanks to the maze of hallways, I was completely confused as to my exact location at the time my "thoughts", outlined above, occured.

At this point, we toured the floor with Elizabeth. As we stood in the corridor, the same

we originally entered, discussing the investigation, an interesting thing occured. I was flashing digital photo's left and right when suddenly the camera started malfunctioning wildly. Now understand that this is a brand new 4 MP digital camera that has not malfunctioned before or since. No matter what I did, I couldn't get it to take another photo. One second later, Elizabeth's digital watch reset itself to Jan 1st 12:00 am ( she was to my left) and then Jack (who was to my right) immediately had a sharp spike on the EM meter. **Note that I was standing in front of a padlocked wooden door at the time. These events all occured within 5 to 10 seconds of each other.

After that, Elizabeth left us to finish closing down the building for the night, and Jack and I continued to search for evidence. I left him with the EM meter in the same general area as I continued to the other end of the hallway taking digital photos. I had just reached the other end of the hallway when something shook the afore mentioned wooden door. He was standing directly in front of it at the time. We both heard it quite clearly, although there was no way anyone else could have shook the door. First, it was padlocked from the outside and used for storage only. Second, if someone or something had been inside the room we would have surely heard it afterwards as we were listening quite closely at this point. I remember thinking that I was glad that he was standing next to that door and not me : ) !!

At this point, it was getting late(and consequently dark ; ) ). We decided that we had enough fun for one day. The feeling that we were being watched never quite left me. At one point, we both could have sworn we heard footsteps behind us, but I cannot decide if there really were footsteps of if our imaginations were running wild!!

I continued to take photo's all the way out of the building and I took a few of the outside of it. We plan to continue investigating this building, as we are all in agreement that it is definitely haunted. Hey, maybe next time we'll make it past the second floor, HA!!
