Just thought I would give some thoughts on my view of orbs.  Being an electronic tech for many years now,  I look at things from that viewpoint.  Of course some orbs are "dust" particles or moisture that reflect the flash of the camera, however I have seen orbs with my own eyes and know that they exist.   I believe true orbs are energy.  They appear to be in the near infrared spectrum and some types of cameras, both digital and film, can detect this  spectrum.  This is particularly true in regards to digital due to the computer chips used.  Problem light reflections can show up as orbs, but can usually be sorted out using gamma correction.  If you get one that is greenish, it may be pollen, which also appears in photographs as an orb.

As I mentioned, yes, some people can see on the edge of the infrared spectrum.  I have seen them for myself, but only on rare occasions.  Certain people seem to see them naturally though without any problems or additional effort.  Unfortunately this is not the case for most of us.

Here are some observations by our group:

1.    Orbs are possibly magnetic energy.
2.    Show up more often when using flash.
3.    Can be seen by "sensitive" people.
4.    May be seen by animals-the orb's electromagnetic field?
5.    Can be anywhere--not just "haunted" locations.  We once got one at a Natural Science Museum.
6.    Can be photographed day or night, indoors or out.
7.    Come in all shapes and sizes.
8.    Seem to move as if intelligently controlled.
9.    Attracted to emotional activity, stress, fear, especially children with high emotions.
10.  Linger near trees, power lines, outside infrared camera's, places of high emotional activity.
11.  Ghost hunting groups or individuals also have high emotional energy.
12.  Appear to go through objects such as walls, floors, etc.
13.  Colors of orbs possibly due to the energy level of the orb.
14.  Pollen in the air can appear as orbs, however the color and signature are different.
15.  Best photographed in near infrared spectrum.
16.  Film sensitive to infrared and digital camera's more sensitive than newer digital camera's.
17.  Gamma shows up on orbs that are reflections.
18.  Sensitives may be picking up on residual electromagnetic fields left by humans here or who have passed on.
18.  We produce energy fields as humans, which may attract other energies whatever form they take.
19.  We have photographed orbs in front of another member photographing the same orb.
20.  We have captured them on practically every type of visual recording device, including film, digital, and video.
